In October of 2021, Retro Supply Co. (maker of vintage-inspired digital brushes, textures, etc.) sponsored the #FrightFall drawing challenge. I took the opportunity to create images heavily inspired by classic/vintage Halloween art and decorations, but with my own twists (particularly with regard to color). This was the image I created for the prompt "BEN COOPER COSTUME". I had a Ben Cooper skeleton costume as a kid in the 70's, so I wanted to do a slightly more realisticly-shaped skull, but with the color style of Cooper costumes. Voila.
